John tyler is a soldier from the future. John Tythor is a time traveler. John Titor's predictions. Future Millionaire Andrew Karlssin

There is hardly a person who would not dream of learning about what awaits us and our planet in the future. Is it possible to hope for a meeting with someone who has already been there and probably knows about the upcoming events? Most likely, many will say that such a development of events is nothing more than the plot of a fantastic film and in real life such a meeting cannot take place. Of course, this statement will seem surprising to some, but many say that a meeting with a guest from the future, whose name is John Tythor, has already taken place. Is it really? Let's try to find out.

Who is John Tythor? This is a man who proclaimed himself a time traveler, a guest from the future, who came to us from 2036. John Tytor literally stirred up numerous Internet forums at the beginning of the 21st century. The discussions and controversies that took place at them concerned the predictions given to them. They say that some of the events described in his messages did take place. But the personality of this person still remains a mystery.

First messages

Who John Taitor is (sometimes in Russian transcription the surname sounds like "Titor") was not known until January 27, 2001, and this despite the fact that this person left his first messages on the Internet as far back as November 2, 2000 ...

However, then they were signed a little differently - TimeTravel. Two years earlier, on July 29, 1998, they had sent two faxes to a late night talk show host. These messages said that he is a time traveler, has been here since April this year and is about to leave soon.

Taitor's statements

Having appeared on the Internet, this man left many predictions there. Some of them were very specific and did not allow for double interpretation. Others were rather vague.

John Tythor has outlined a dire future for readers. In it, the United States was divided into five small countries. The infrastructure and environment of the once mighty America have been destroyed by nuclear war. Many world powers have simply been destroyed.

At the end of March 2001, messages from the time traveler who claimed to be John Tythor stopped receiving messages on the Internet. Nobody knows where he is now. However, all of his predictions were saved by users on hard drives, as well as on the sites he visited. And after 2001, the messages of this person are published on the Web, sometimes in a very modified form.

The story of John Tythor is considered legendary today. She found reflection in a book about a traveler, in a computer game based on his adventures. Japanese filmmakers made a film about John Taitor in the form of an anime series.

Interestingly, the principle of time travel, which was outlined by John, was patented in 2006. Not bad for a person who is considered by sane citizens to be just an Internet troll.

Travel history

How did John Tythor get into our time? According to him, he is an American soldier from the future. The unit in which he serves is based in Tampa, Florida. In the messages of this man it is said that he was made a participant in a government project in 1975. The task assigned to John is that he has to get to a computer of the IBM 5100 brand. Why was he chosen for such a responsible mission? An explanation for this was also given by Taitor. This happened due to the fact that the traveler's paternal grandfather was directly involved in the assembly and programming of the IBM 5100.

Why did John Taitor end up in 1998? The Time Traveler's story describes that he made only a small stop in the past for personal reasons. He allegedly wished to return the photographs lost during the future civil war. John also wanted to visit his family, as well as meet himself at the age of three.

Autobiography

What did John Tythor tell about himself to the forum participants? The date of birth of this person has remained unclear. Only one year known. According to Taitor, he was born in 1998. At the age of thirteen, the boy himself decided to serve in the army. He also helped his father work, transporting goods along the river.

At 31, John entered college. After that, he was recruited to participate in the Time Travel program.

According to Taitor, he has the rank of major in this unit, which has seven other people in addition to him. Travelers are sent on various missions from the 1960s to the 1980s.

Johnson said he appreciates old rock and roll and classical music. He is a passionate sailor. His hobbies include swimming, online games and cards, reading and chatting with foreigners. Taitor is an agnostic by his outlook, and by religion a Christian who honors the Sabbath. He is married. He has two sons and lives with his family in Florida, Tampa. John Taitor did not leave a photo to his interlocutors.

Experts' opinions

The computer that John Tytor is talking about was one of the first handheld devices to be able to run in obsolete programming languages. It's IBM, augmented by Basic and APL. John wrote on the Internet that in the future there was a need for a system for debugging a wide variety of computer programs. He argued that Linux will have some problems in 2038.

According to Bob Dubka, an IBM engineer, Titor's claims were correct. Indeed, the IBM 5100 had a little-known ability for system debugging and emulation. And this strengthens the position of Taitor's supporters. Indeed, in 2000 and 2001, such information was not available to the general public. The time traveler himself said that such a function would emerge only in 2036. At this time, the Linux operating system will serve as the basis of all computer systems.

However, this emulation feature is well known to specialists today. In addition, it has received numerous comments from publications covering topics not only of the IBM 5100, but also of the software microcode in general. Links to this fact were available on the Internet in 1999 and clearly preceded the messages received from Taitor in time. From this we can make an unambiguous conclusion that the one who seemed to readers to be a time traveler knew the IBM 5100 well.

Time Machine

Time traveler John Titor spent several months answering questions from forum members on the Internet. He described future events using poetic phrases, and constantly talked about the fact that there are other realities in the world.

Time Traveler John Tythor spoke about the vehicle that delivered him in 1998. In doing so, he used extremely difficult algorithms to explain how the machine he arrived in and provided grainy photographs of it.

Based on the description of this device, it consisted of the following:

  • two magnetic units needed to generate a double microsingularity;
  • an electronic injection manifold that measures mass and gravity at a microsingularity;
  • cooling and X-ray protection systems;
  • gravitational sensors and systems for blocking changes in gravity;
  • three main computers.

The time machine was accompanied by a "User's Guide", which was also published by the traveler on the Internet.

As John Tytor said, the time machine was originally installed in a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette. Then it was transferred to an all-wheel drive car.

Reasoning about the quantum model of the world

In his messages, Taitor wrote that the Everett-Wheeler theory is absolutely correct. According to this model, each possible variant of a quantum solution occurs in a separate "universe". According to the time traveler, this explanation was the reason for resolving the controversy surrounding the "grandfather paradox." So, based on the quantum logic of reasoning, killing your grandfather is simply impossible.

After all, after this, a new universe will necessarily form, where the old man will not be. In addition, the old world, where everything will be all right with grandfather, will remain without fail. This theory is reflected in the movie "Back to the Future". In this regard, all quantum events, results and states that take place are quite real.

Predictions

Of course, the whole story could well have been invented by a simple fan of science fiction. In order to present it not as a cheap joke, the author had to provide evidence. And they were predictions. That is, information unknown at the time Taitor's messages appeared on the Internet. Some ambiguous statements, which, of course, were discovered by the researchers, also proved to be true of the story.

Taitor backed up his story by reasoning about the laws of quantum mechanics and about the existence of many worlds, the events of which are different from ours. However, he was still reckless in his statement that the differences between realities are minimal. And he was deeply mistaken. Today it has become obvious that these differences are still very significant. All of this casts doubt on the history of time travel. After all, the main events predicted by Taitor never happened.

The soldier's main prediction from the future concerned the upcoming civil war in the United States. What did John Tythor say about her? The traveler's predictions clearly indicated that the conflict would develop in 2004, during the presidential campaign. Moreover, his messages assert a constant deterioration of the situation until the whole country gets out of control. This will happen supposedly in 2008.

Taitor also wrote that in 2011, as a thirteen-year-old boy, he had to fight in an infantry unit. Peace, according to his stories, came only in 2015. However, it was preceded by a short but very intense World War III, which claimed 3 billion human lives.

What predictions did John Tytor make about Russia? He argued that it was she who would deliver a nuclear strike in 2015 aimed at major cities in the United States, China and Europe. The American Federal Empire will be completely destroyed. However, part of its territory, for which Taitor fought, will emerge victorious, taking Russia as its allies. China and the European Union will also be destroyed. After the end of hostilities, a new capital will appear in the country. It will be the city of Omaha, which is located in the state of Nebraska.

Despite the clear description of specific events, the reasons for the Third World War are indicated by Titor very vaguely. He speaks only of its main prerequisites, which are overpopulation and border conflicts. At the same time, he points to the conflict between Jews and Arabs as one of the main milestones preceding the war.

Evaluating predictions

Was John Taitor right? Fortunately, this man's predictions did not come true. And we can speak about this with firm certainty, since all the deadlines named by John have passed. This would make it possible to completely forget the failed prophet. However, Taitor's statement about the presence of a large number of worlds worked well here. From this it may follow that the journey of the American soldier began not in our reality, but in a parallel universe. Thus, all events in our world can go completely differently. And here it is difficult to accuse the time traveler of lying.

Another prophecy from Taitor concerns CERN's discovery of a way to travel back in time. And this, he said, should have happened in 2001, right after the discovery of miniature black holes. To prove the veracity of his facts, John Taitor (time traveler) even posted a photo, albeit fuzzy, of a time machine. However, this did not happen either. For the sake of fairness, it should be said that during this period, miniature black holes were indeed discovered.

Taitor's successful prediction was also the announcement of the impending war in Iraq. Nor was he mistaken that no weapons of mass destruction would be found.
Today it is impossible for our contemporaries to assess the upcoming events. The time traveler describes 2036 as a period of world recovery after numerous disasters. Informs John about the increasing role of religion, but the decline in the prestige of large church communities. By 2036, according to a guest from the future, people began to work harder. Moreover, more attention was paid to agriculture. AIDS was never defeated in the future, and researchers in high energy physics discovered "strange things."

Exposure

Most commentators immediately drew an analogy between the story that appeared on the Internet and the classic science fiction post-apocalyptic novel. Of course, many of the elements of the time traveler's narrative are capable of working in any legend. For example, moving from one century to another. The opportunity to make such trips attracts many, and most of us would still like it to be true.

Another important element of the legend created is the distrust of the government. The civil war and martial law described in John's messages, as well as the struggle to respect democracy and freedoms, is nothing more than a conspiracy theory exercise. And many people would like to witness such events. In this case, we can say that John Tythor has collected the most popular opinions in his stories. To top it all off, he used nothing more than a sports car for his time travel. This should please many.

Yes, there are people who believe in the existence of an American soldier from the future. However, those familiar with online pranks simply scoff when they hear about a traveler from a possibly parallel world. Skeptics cite Taitor's conflicting stories as an example. So, in one of his messages, he said that credit cards and money are widely used in his world. Later, he argued that there is simply no centralized banking system in 2036. In addition, according to Taitor's stories, he moved into the past in order to prevent the upcoming world war. But at the same time, answering questions about the future, he insisted that it was too late to change the world.

Be that as it may, the legend that appeared on the Internet continues to develop. After all, humanity does not yet know a reliable way by which it would be possible to distinguish an honest person from a swindler. Where is this time traveler now? Maybe he lives quietly among us, or maybe, having completed his mission, he moved into a parallel dimension? We will never know this.

Why don't chronotourists, who have arrived in our time from the distant future on an excursion, do not fall right on our heads? Some explain this by the fact that the time machine has not yet been invented, and time travel is impossible until the moment when it happens, a kind of protective mechanism of the Universe to prevent the occurrence of insoluble temporal paradoxes. Others argue that traveling to the past is not possible: whatever happened, happened, the river of time flows in only one direction, into the future. The most pragmatic people generally consider time travel a fairy tale like "Star Wars", the landing of the Americans on the moon and other gremlins. However, if we do not see chronotourists, this does not mean that they are not there.

One of the most famous time travelers was named John Taitor. He was not a time traveler, he was a soldier from the future, just like Kyle Reese from The Terminator. Taitor traveled from 2036 to modern times to find a uniquely coded IBM 5100 computer that could solve the 2038 problem for UNIX systems. In addition, in 2015, the Third World War will break out, which destroyed about 3 billion people, the United States will fall into five parts, and the world will cease to exist in the form in which we know it.

John Titor's story

Even after so many years, there is still debate about when exactly this story began. The starting point was taken on November 2, 2000, when someone under the nickname TimeTravel_0 began to post on the Time Travel Institute forum. At first, the conversation was only about the basic principles of time travel and some of the technical details of creating a time machine. The name John Titor first appears on the forum of the American radio host Arthur Bell, the creator of the Coast to Coast AM paranormal program, which was broadcast in the United States and Canada. Gradually, John Taitor begins to predict the future. More and more people joined the discussion, asked questions about time travel, asked why he was here, were interested in the technologies necessary to create a time machine and, of course, the upcoming events full of wars and disasters. Taitor's last post is dated March 21, 2001, where he claimed to be going back to 2036. Since then, John has never appeared online again.

John Tythor's Time Travel Theory

Taitor argued that the theory of the Many-Worlds Interpretation (MMI), formulated by the American physicist Hugh Everett in 1957, is correct. According to his conclusions, each event has an infinite number of versions, determined by the most complex world function, capable of describing the universe in an infinite number of ways, at the same time, uncertainty does not arise, since it is impossible to observe the universe from outside its limits. Do not confuse the MMI with the Multiverse, which consists of an aggregate of an infinite number of parallel worlds. In Everett's theory, the world exists in a single copy, it is simply described in different ways. Taitor argued that, on the basis of this, the grandfather's paradox is absurd, he can kill his “own” grandfather, but it will be a “different” grandfather, that is, it will not prevent the birth of Taitor and the paradox will not arise.

Time Machine

Let's skip the technical details and dwell on the sensations of a time traveler, which Taitor talked about in some detail in his posts.

After loading the coordinates into the system, the time machine begins to accelerate. The beep and the flashing light start counting down, you must make sure that you are securely fastened in the chair. You almost immediately find yourself inside the machine-generated gravitational field. It is like a jerk if you were taking an elevator quickly. When the car accelerates to 100%, the gravity increases. Its strength is directly proportional to how far away you are directly from the device. There are no serious side effects, but it is better not to eat anything before sending it back in time.

You will not see any flashes or bright lights, from the outside it will look as if the light rays are going around the car. Your eyes should be protected with dark glasses, as an intense ultraviolet light burst will occur.

Further Taitor describes nothing else as "it is like driving under a rainbow, and then darkness falls until the very end." Then you hear a voltage drop sound and a slight crackle of static electricity.

Details of some predictions

All posts of the self-proclaimed time traveler were written before 9/11, the collapse of the shuttle Columbia and the outbreak of the Second Iraqi War. Many followers of Taitor believe that he knew about these events, but did not speak about them directly, only throwing hints and hints. John Tythor answered a myriad of questions and is believed to have foreseen many things that actually happened later. The most important thing in his predictions was that he proclaimed the truth of the MMI with an infinite number of different options for the development of the same event, where, under the influence of our actions, the universe can “move” from one line to another. Thus, the future can be changed, moreover, it has already changed under the influence of John Tythor, which means that not all of his predictions will come true. Taitor himself claimed that his universe differs from ours by 1-2%, but the longer he is here, the more the differences become.

  • The 2000 (Y2K) problem was a terrible disaster that resulted in massive power outages and thousands of people froze to death on America's freeways trying to get to warmer places.
  • Status: wrong. Issue 2000 was a well-run marketing campaign.
Faxes to Arthur Bell

The last prediction was not made online, because Y2K had already passed without serious consequences, and Taitor could not help but know. Some sources claim the story began in 1998 when Arthur Bell received two faxes from John Tythor.

Taitor's adepts attribute this inconsistency to the fact that the future has been changed. However, there is no reason to believe that the faxes and messages on the forums were sent by the same person. Moreover, there is no way to determine whether these faxes were actually sent in 1998, or they were miraculously found after 2001, when the story gained popularity. Titor himself never commented on the existence of faxes, which is further proof of Bell's rich imagination.

Impact on pop culture

The legend of John Titor was most clearly manifested in the series of games, manga and anime Steins; Gate, based on the plot of which John Titor is a soldier from the future who arrived in 2010 to find the IBN 5100 computer, working on a unique program code, capable of decrypting the SERN databases, organizations , which in the future built a time machine and with its help gained world domination.

Hoaxes and legends have left their mark on popular culture in the past and fueled unexpected tourist destinations in Scotland at Loch Ness and Roswell, New Mexico. However, the story of John Tythor was a unique example of how conventional Internet discussion got out of the clumsy 1.0 Internet into the real world and merged into pop culture. Taitor has appeared in the media, book, play, anime, and even gave rise to patenting some of the provisions of his theory of time travel. Legends are now being born on the Web, just as Gibson and Sterling predicted.

The name John Titor first appeared on the Time Travel Institute forum in November 2000, although it was then that he signed up with TimeTravel_0, and soon he gave his "name" - John Titor. He told about himself that he is a soldier from the future, from 2036, and in his time our world has already been destroyed by a certain computer virus. So, the mission of the time traveler is to return to distant 1975 and destroy the IBM 5100 computer in order to fix the deplorable future of the planet.

Forum participants enthusiastically asked the time traveler, asked him questions about the near future, and Taitor eagerly answered, not forgetting to remind everyone that reality is not the same for everyone, and his reality does not necessarily coincide with others. Be that as it may, he simply aroused great interest in his person, and his predictions for the near future enjoyed great interest and were discussed in the broadest possible way.

So, in particular, he predicted the war in Iraq, albeit rather vaguely. However, some of the predictions did not come true at all. So, John Taitor said that in the future the United States will be divided into several regions, and as a result will undergo a nuclear attack.

He told about himself that he got into 2000 along the way, having decided to stop by at that time for personal reasons - to see his family, to collect some photographs. In fact, his ultimate goal is 1975.

So, among the predictions of John Tythor were the civil war in the United States, a nuclear attack, the war in Iraq, the transfer of the US capital to Nebraska, and even a vague allusion to the Third World War.

Several times Taitor described the time machine in great detail, actively operating with the technical characteristics of the device, and even, they say, presented a very fuzzy photograph of it.

In March 2001, John Tythor wrote his last post on the Internet and disappeared without a trace and forever.

Later, several private investigations were undertaken, during which no information about a man named John Tytor was found. There was no evidence of his family, and only one person, lawyer Larry Haber (Larry Haber) confirmed his possible existence.

Best of the day

Today, everything related to John Titor, a time traveler and soldier from the future, is usually mentioned with a grain of salt. But more than ten years ago, many, fascinated by the topic of the future, extraterrestrial civilizations and other things, treated it with the most keen interest. John Tythor has remained both a legend on the Internet and remained unsolved. Many call him a hoaxer and even a charlatan, others respect the brilliant idea of this, of course, an interesting person with an extraordinary imagination and broad knowledge of history, technology, astrology and space sciences.

Time travel is a favorite subject of science fiction writers and the dream of their fans. However, there are those who assure that they actually came from the future - some fleeing from the special services, some in attempts to warn humanity about the impending disaster. told the stories of the most controversial guests from the future.

Soldier from 2036

In 2000, the story of John Titor, who supposedly arrived from 2036, captured the minds of Americans. He registered on one of the resources and talked about his experience, in between times demonstrating his time machine.

Taitor confessed that he is a soldier sent back in time to deliver the IBM 5100 computer to scientists. Future programmers must fix bugs that will cause problems in 2038. However, Taitor decided to temporarily stop in 2000 to chat with his family, collect photographs lost in a future war and prevent an impending catastrophe - the Third World War.

Titor suggested learning basic weapons skills and keeping everything ready to "leave the house in ten minutes and never go back there." He even assembled a team of volunteers ready to go with him into 2036. “I don’t set myself the goal of being believed,” explained Taitor. - Let me tell you a little secret: in the future, no one loves you. We regard you as a generation of lazy, self-centered and outrageously ignorant rams. I think this should worry you more than my persona. "

Taitor appointed a global catastrophe for 2015. It was supposed to start with a nuclear strike by Russia on the United States, which had collapsed during the 2005 civil war. The cause of the war was the conflict between Arabs and Jews. As a result, almost the whole world would have to lie in ruins: Russia and Europe would disappear from the face of the planet, and only a few military bases remained of the United States.

Taitor finally disappeared from the Internet in 2005, when his predictions one after another turned out to be false. In 2008, private detectives established that neither John Titor himself nor his family existed. The only person to confirm Titor's existence was his lawyer, Larry Haber. Some fans still believe in the reality of Taitor, and the unfulfilled predictions are explained by a temporary paradox: since he told about them, they did not happen. The Habers, however, were simply friends of the guest's family from the future, with whom he stayed, - therefore, he went online from their computer.

Nuclear strike on the bitcoin rich

In 2003, the entertainment resource Weekly World News published a story about the arrest of an unusually successful economist. Someone Andrew Carlssin allegedly made $ 350 million in two weeks on risky investments, having invested only $ 800. Such an exceptional case could not fail to attract the attention of the police who arrested the newly-minted rich man. During interrogation, he did not disclose the fraudulent schemes, but admitted that he had arrived from 2256. A source in the Securities and Exchange Commission told reporters about this.

During interrogation, Karlsin admitted that he was too carried away: he planned to invest in both successful and unsuccessful business projects, but “it was too difficult to resist the temptation,” so all his 126 investments brought him instant profit. According to journalists, they could not find information about him until December 2002, as if Karlsin did not really exist before.

For his release, he promised the government to tell the whereabouts of bin Laden and to reveal the secret of the cure for AIDS, but flatly refused to admit where the time machine is located and explain its structure, as he was very afraid that the unit would fall "into the wrong hands." They refused to release him from prison until an unknown well-wisher paid a one million dollar bail for him. Karlsin was released, in April 2013 he was supposed to appear before the court, but disappeared on the way to the hearing.

The story was picked up by many world media: publications about Karlsin appeared in The New Yorker, The Scotsman. But most of all, the mysterious story of Andrew Karlsin surprised not newspaper readers, but the FBI and the SEC. Journalists literally tortured them with requests for comment about the "time traveler". The refusal of the special services to comment on Karlsin's case only provoked the conspiracy theorists, who are confident that the authorities are simply hiding the truth.

I found my prophet on an entertainment resource. In August 2013, a user under the nickname Luka_Magnotta wrote an appeal to the Americans asking them to abandon Bitcoin. According to him, the use of cryptocurrency could lead to a nuclear war, and he came from 2026 to warn humanity about this and make it stop in time.

Luca said that in his time, the dollars familiar to people have already disappeared. After the value of bitcoin reached a million dollars, humanity became disillusioned with other currencies and abandoned them: "Now all wealth exists in only two forms: bitcoins and land." The population, he said, suffers from hunger, as all the money is concentrated in the Citadels - fully robotic fortress cities where the cryptocurrency rich live. But the availability of money does not guarantee a comfortable life: at least every fourth bitcoin owner is tortured in order to find out his password.

Politics is also not all right: most governments have been destroyed, as people prefer to hide their income and stopped paying taxes. Russian hackers stole 60 percent of Africa's wealth in two days, after which a civil war began, which only two of the richest countries could end: Saudi Arabia and North Korea.

Luca claimed he was planning a nuclear apocalypse to end the dominance of the bitcoin rich. With the help of 20 nuclear submarines, he intends to destroy all submarine Internet cables and launch missiles into densely populated areas. He ended his story with a request to strangle Bitcoin in the bud, because "he knows how it will all end."

Magnotta's prediction was recalled in November 2017, when bitcoin reached the ten thousand dollar mark, as predicted by the "guest from the future."

The future is hazy

Showcasing photographs from the future is all the rage among self-proclaimed time travelers. Guests from other times prefer to do it on Youtube-ApexTV channel dedicated to the paranormal. Since the beginning of 2018, three time travelers have already shown their pictures: from 6000, 10000 and 2118. All photographs are similar in one thing: for some reason they do not differ in clarity.

A 6000-year-old alien attributes the blur to the image that it distorts during time travel. He was also lucky that the same did not happen to his insides: according to him, scientists have observed this. He stated that he was born in the 20th century and participated in experiments in the 1990s, when researchers sent several people into the future, at different times. He is forced to hide his name and face and change his voice so that he is not caught by the mysterious "they".

Frame: ApexTV / YouTube

According to the testimony of the “guest from the future”, this is how the world will be in a hundred years.

In 40 centuries, he said, everyone will be able to teleport and travel in time. But there is no need to worry about temporal paradoxes: travelers will be invisible and will not be able to interfere with the course of history (he does not explain how he was able to appear in the video at the same time). The world will be ruled by artificial intelligence devoid of emotions, it will also reduce people in size so that they take up a minimum of space and consume fewer resources.

A man who visited the year 10,000 explained the blurriness of the picture "by a change in the electromagnetic properties of the Earth", because of which cameras began to work differently. According to him, while studying in America in 2008, he met a professor who invited him to fly into the future. After hesitating a little, he made up his mind. According to him, in the future, grass grows everywhere, and skyscrapers are so high that their peaks cannot be seen behind the clouds. All cars fly in the sky, and aliens walk on the ground. Humans also learned to fly, and the time traveler suggested that nanotechnology was helping them with this. Soft robots and holograms were everywhere. He really wanted to once again fly into the future, but when he came to the professor the next day, he was not at home, and the time machine disappeared without a trace.

Alexander Smith, who moved from 1981 to 2118, and then to 2018, that the original image from the future was taken from him by the government, and he only had a copy of poor quality. According to him, he is looking for him, so he lives in a hiding place and hides his real name. As for the future, robots told him that "smart aliens will come to Earth in the middle of the 21st century." The worst danger to humans, Smith called global warming and asked the residents of 2018 to think about the environment "if only for the sake of their children and grandchildren."

The same channel has already published several interviews with a guest from 2030 under the pseudonym Noah. He even passed a lie detector test, and he passed the test with flying colors: when asked directly whether he was a guest from the future, he answered “yes,” and the polygraph showed that it was true.

Noah looks about 20 years old, but assures that he is twice as old and retained the appearance of a young man thanks to the "secret medicine." According to him, scientists learned to travel in time 15 years ago, but they hide it from the public. And only in 2028 will the government allow anyone to go to the past or the future. Then humanity will go to Mars.

According to him, by 2030, humanity will learn how to treat many forms of cancer, robots will run a household, and almost everyone will have some kind of Google glasses with the same power as today's computers. Bitcoins will finally enter circulation, but traditional money will not disappear either. Due to global warming, the climate in the United States will become hotter and in Europe colder. He also said that the US president would be re-elected for a second term, but refused to provide evidence so as "not to cause a temporary paradox."

Who claimed to have come from the future. The case is funny, but far from an isolated one. Moreover, many of these "time travelers" were not arrested or dragged to a psychiatric hospital, but listened to them and believed almost every word. However, it also could not do without curiosities and outright hoaxes. We decided to recall several high-profile and amazing cases associated with chronauts.

Soldier from 2036
John Tythor

Perhaps the most famous "time traveler" who caused an extraordinary stir, forcing even convinced skeptics to reflect on his words. Nobody has ever seen Titor himself - John preferred to communicate on the Internet. According to legend, Taitor came from 2036, when the world lay in ruins after the invasion of a computer virus, the Third World War and a whole string of local conflicts. Titor's future looks like it was in cyberpunk novels of the mid-1980s and early 1990s: high digital technologies coexist with poverty and decline in other areas, half of the world has been destroyed by nuclear strikes, and the political map is not at all like the current one.

John Tythor's Time Machine Diagram

Taitor preferred to speak in half hints, without naming specific dates and names, referring to "non-interference" in the affairs of the past. Nevertheless, "laissez-faire" did not work, and he poured out a lot of information on his grateful readers: in addition to rather transparent hints, he, for example, explained in detail the structure of the time machine and the principle of chrono travel.

However, in terms of the number of prophecies that came true, Taitor is close to Nostradamus, however, and in their quality he can also compete with the famous predictor: everything is rather vague and can be explained by the forecast of a person who is more or less versed in the political situation of that time. In the main, Titor's predictions did not come true: in 2004-2005, there were no mass riots in the United States that would lead to a new civil war and split the country into several separate states. But it was on this ridge that the whole history of Taitor was based. However, in 2015, the Third World War should break out, judging by the words of the chronaut. True, Titor himself claims that the picture of the future that he painted is characteristic of the world in which he lives: time travel, according to Titor, involves moving from one parallel reality of the multiverse to another.

Taitor's mission was to go back to 1975 and get an IBM 5100 computer that had the hidden capabilities of fixing "old UNIX-based systems, even before the spread of APL and Basic." In 2000, when his first posts appeared on the Time Travel Institute forum, John stopped by "for personal reasons": to see his family and ... himself at the age of two. Doc Brown cries tears of blood.

Hokan Nordqvist and Hokan Nordqvist from the future

The Swede Hokan Nordqvist came home in 2006 and saw that the kitchen floor was flooded with water. Without thinking twice, he took out his tools and reached into the cabinet under the sink to fix the leak. Further, according to Hokan, the space of the closet suddenly expanded, and light dawned in front. Without batting an eye, the Swede climbed towards the light and ... crawled out from under the sink in his house, but 36 years later. At the same time, Nordqvist claims, he managed not only to meet his 72-year-old self, but also to remove video confirmation. It is difficult to judge the similarity of the people he captured: Nordqvist took a strategically correct position with his back to the sun. However, some similarities between men are observed, except that the elderly person is slightly taller than Nordqvist, and in the period from 36 to 72 years, people usually do not grow. There is one more "proof" - identical tattoos, but it is difficult to call this convincing proof.

Billy Meyer and Dinosaur Photography

Swiss chronaut Billy Meyer is famous not only for time travel, but also for close contacts with representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence. It was they, according to Billy, who helped him travel back in time, where he took several photographs. True, his most famous photograph of a pterodactyl turned out to be a very defocused snapshot of an illustration from the book "Life Before Man", and a photo with alien dancers turned out to be a snapshot of the TV screen on which the Dean Martin show was running. Subsequently, the Swiss wife confirmed that all the evidence of his words were forgeries and she personally took part in their production.

Future Millionaire Andrew Karlssin

In 2002, the FBI carried out an operation to arrest 44-year-old Andrew Karlsin, who was surprisingly lucky in stock transactions. As agents assumed, Karlsin entered into a criminal conspiracy with managers of companies trading in shares, and with the help of inside information received from them, he received very good income.

Having started playing with 800 dollars in his pocket, Andrew managed to increase his fortune up to 350 million in two weeks, having made only 126 transactions. This is what attracted the attention of the US Securities Market Commission and then the FBI to him.

The arrested person himself rejected the existence of collusion with representatives of the companies, instead stating that he had come from the future - from 2256, where, of course, everything is known about how the stock quotes fluctuated in 2002.

As soon as the story got into the newspapers, a whole hysteria began around Karlsin's story. Someone argued that such a person never existed until 2002, there is no mention of him in the databases. Stock brokers assured that, even with insider information, it is impossible to make so much money in such a short time. True, all these people did not take into account one thing: the first mention of the time traveler appeared on the pages of Weekly World News - a tabloid famous for the most absurd stuffing and inventions.

Chronovisor of the Holy Father Pellegrino Ernetti

The Benedictine monk, specialist in archaic music, renowned exorcist and quantum physicist Marcello Pellegrino Ernetti became known to the whole world in a completely different capacity. Unlike our other heroes, he did not claim that he came from the future or the past, and it is difficult to call what he described as a journey. Ernetti claimed that he had invented a certain device - a chronovisor - that allowed him to look at any point in time and see the events taking place there.

As Ernetti himself said, he was inspired to create such a device by his passion for ancient music, or rather, for the ancient Roman opera Fiesta, the score of which was lost, but the original sound of which the holy father longed to hear.

It is interesting that Ernetti himself mentioned the chronovisor only once, after which he did not mention this device in any of his works. But Ernetti's assistant and confidant, Father François Brune, talked about this device willingly and a lot, and even wrote a book dedicated to this story.

According to Brune, the operation of the chronovisor was based on the theory that there are no solid particles in the world, and all phenomena are waves, which, in fact, are the very Word that, according to the Bible, was at the beginning of everything. Having learned to read these waves, it was possible to call from the past any event that ever happened. The result of the chronovisor's work, according to Brune, looked like a three-dimensional black-and-white hologram, but taking into account new technologies, it was possible to add color.

In order to check the operation of the device and make sure of its accuracy, the holy fathers first looked into the recent past, having watched the performance of Benito Mussolini. Then they went further, seeing Napoleon, the speech of Cicero and, in the end, the crucifixion of Christ.

Soon after, the apparatus was dismantled, as it carried a potential threat: the ability to look into any event of the past could seriously undermine the current power of both political and religious structures. In addition, Brune argues, the chronovisor could be adjusted to capture the thoughts of any person, and in unscrupulous hands this would lead to the establishment of a world dictatorship.

Nevertheless, no convincing evidence of the existence of the chronovisor was presented to the general public. The text of "Fiesta" was recognized as a stylization composed by Ernetti himself, photographs of Jesus Christ, supposedly made with the help of a device, turned out to be a fake, and not the most skillful one - they looked like a sculpture by a woodcarver Lorenzo Valera, and the very principle of the device, which allows both to see the events of the past on TV, was described in the work of science fiction writer Thomas Sherred "Attempt" in 1947.
